Become a Vendor
To become a vendor, there are a few requirements that you must be aware of and a couple of documents that you have to attach at the time you submit your application. The following pages will guide you through the process. By reading through each page and preparing the required documents, you will be ready to participate in a fun and lucrative vendor experience. If I am a vendor frying chicken or fish, I consent to operate a minimum of two (2) 5qt 2 basket fryers (4 baskets). Each fryer must be plugged into a separate 20amp circuit. Additionally, I agree to have my fryers on site to be inspected and tagged for grease disposal service no later than 12:00 PM on Friday of the festival.
I understand that during peak (12-1:30pm), I must meet or exceed twenty (20) servings per hour.
I agree to staff my booth with a minimum of two (2-4) employees at all times.
I agree to arrive on site at the Nicodemus Park along with my staff no later than 12pm noon Friday.
I agree to arrive on site at the Nicodemus Park along with my staff no later than a minimum of two hours (9am) prior to the 11am parade start time on Saturday morning.
I agree to adhere to a strict load in/load out time as assigned by the Nicodemus Homecoming Emancipation Celebration. I understand that if I miss my scheduled load-in time it will impact my ability to set up and vend.
I agree to start each day of the festival with enough cash to make change. I understand that the Nicodemus Homecoming Emancipation Celebration is not responsible for providing change to vendors.
I agree to have a representative present at ALL mandatory vendor meetings. If I am an out- of-state vendor, I agree to make myself available for a video conference call within 48 hours of a mandatory meeting.
